Mission OF THE FFA
The National Future Farmers of America Organization develops competent and assertive agricultural leadership in America’s youth and strives to increase awareness of the global and technological importance of agriculture and its contribution to our well-being. We are privileged to be a part of the agriculture industry here in the State of California where according to the latest statistics compiled by the California Department of Food and Agriculture, the state produces almost half of all the fruits, nuts and vegetables grown in the country, as well as a whopping share of the livestock and dairy.
CHAPTER PROGRAM
The Apple Valley FFA Chapter is just one of 320 FFA chapters across the state of California. In 1967 Apple Valley High School received its charter from the California Association of Future Farmers of America (FFA) a national organization. Currently, our program has about 260 members in either our agriculture classes or the welding program.
